Bark City is a dog daycare and boarding facility located in the heart of Huntington Beach, California. Our vision is to create a unique outdoor and indoor environment that is comfortable, fun, and most importantly, safe. At Bark City, your dog will be loved and socialized at one of Orange County’s premier dog daycares!
What makes Bark City special?
Dogs get to spend a vast majority of their time outside under the California sun! Indoor space is available for resting periods and overnight stays. With over 5,000 square feet of turf and a 9 inch deep in ground splash pool, we have ample space for both large and small dogs to play and socialize. Large and small dogs are kept separately throughout the facility, however exceptions can be made based on activity level. On top of being some of the biggest dog lovers in Orange County, Bark City employees are
CPR and animal safety certified.
Large and small dogs will sleep in our main building with air and heat capabilities. The Bark City staff will monitor the dogs all night providing 24-hour supervision to ensure that your little guy or gal sleeps soundly and comfortably.

REQUIREMENTS
TEMPERAMENT TESTING
Bark City requires that potential clients participate in a temperament test prior to daycare and boarding. Temperament tests consist of a four hour period in which your dog will be introduced to the staff and Bark City dogs. This allows for staff members to evaluate the dog’s behavior in both a cage-free environment and away from his or her parents.
To schedule your temperament test, please send in updated vaccination records for your pup via email.

Once you or your vet has sent those in, please call our front desk to confirm your pup is up to date and schedule a temperament test.
Your dog must be:
Up to date on vaccinations
(Rabies, DHPP and Bordetella - every 6 months)
Over four months of age
Dropped off with food for his or her stay
(Bark City can provide food if preferred/needed)
A fecal exam within the past year
(For Ova, Parasites, and Giardia)
On a flea regiment
(Comfortis/Advantix /etc.)
Spayed or neutered (if over 8 months)
Must have owned your dog for 3 weeks
Wearing a collar with a name tag
To remain eligible for boarding, your dog must come in once every six months
